The first string-derived eclectic flavor model with realistic phenomenology

A bstract Eclectic flavor groups arising from string compactifications combine the power of modular and traditional symmetries to address puzzle. This top-down scheme determines representations weights all matter fields, imposing strict constraints on structure effective potential, which result in controlled corrections. We study lepton quark phenomenology an explicit, potentially realistic example model based a ???? 6 /? 3 × ? orbifold compactification heterotic that gives rise ?(2) eclectic symmetry. find interplay flavon alignment localization modulus vicinity symmetry-enhanced point leads naturally protected fermion mass hierarchies, favoring normal-ordered neutrino masses see-saw mechanism. show our can reproduce observables sector with small number parameters deliver predictions for so far undetermined observables.
